On June 10 2012, the island of Bali celebrating the “Pesta Kesenian Bali”—or what we call "Bali Arts Festival"— for the 34th time since starting in 1978. Took place in The Monumen Perjuangan Rakyat Bali, at Renon, Denpasar, the Bali Arts Festival was opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and attended by thousands of people of Bali, as well as tourists, who enthusiastically welcomed a parade of various cultures from around the region on the island of Bali.

The event brings together a variety of arts programs during a month, including the parade of Balinese music from all the districts in the island of Bali, which is also presented more than 300 musicians and dancers. This event will officially close on July 9 2012.
