The Dutch National Ballet: Featuring Two Ballets

May 9 - May 23

The Dutch National Ballet is also following in suit by bringing art to our homes.

Hans van Manen is Dutch National Ballet’s pride and joy. As a Resident Choreographer for the company from 1973-1985, he choreographed more than 120 beautiful ballets. This weekend, starting from 16th this May 2020 at 7 PM CET, you can enjoy some of his works in Hans van Manen: Part Two, featuring “Sarcasmen”, “Two Gold Variations” and the documentary “Creating Without Words”.

In addition, since last Saturday (9th May 2020), the Dutch National Ballet also started featuring Rudi van Dantzig’s interpretation of “Zwanenmeer” or “Swan Lake” with set and costumes by Toer van Schayk. These combinations created a stunning work of art on stage.

Both performances can be viewed on the Dutch National Ballet’s website until 23rd May 2020.
